Nat & John- Summer 2014

Nat and the kids had such a fun trip to Utah this summer!
Highlights were: Bear Lake, Porter shooting his first gun, Camping in the trailer with Nann and Grampa, a sleepover at Aunt Monica's,  and fireworks with cousins (Uncle Eric and Uncle Ry sure know what fireworks to buy)!  Thanks everyone, for showing us all such a good time! It's great to have that time to catch up with everyone.

We are feeling settled into our Kentucky home.

Ivy and Porter started gymnastics last month, and they both really like it.

John and Nat just got called to be primary teachers for Porter's class. We have 12 kids in our class! It should be a ....um.....good time.

John successfully passed his written General Surgery Board Exam last month! Wahoo! He is now qualified to sit for the Oral Exam, which will be in March.

Ivy turned 8 in August, and since she had so much fun at Avery's birthday party, she wanted to have a frozen party too! She will be getting baptized on September 13th, and she is getting excited for that!

Love you all!

Eric & Krista - Summer 2014

We continue to live the dream on our third floor "penthouse" apartment. We continuously rotate children in order to accommodate Luke's distaste with having a sleep mate. We are stillllllllll trying to pick a builder that is up for our "weird" project. We are excited to get back to normal life and some structure with school. Miles gets to officially start school this year and he is pretty thrilled as that means he is BIG. We have lots of fun memories of a very full summer and look forward making more as the year goes on. Much love to all, the Eric Forsberg Fam

Ryan & Mel - Summer 2014

July and August were full of fun!  We loved spending time with family and cousins!  We enjoyed fireworks, Bear Lake, Jump Zone, swimming at the Aquatic Center, walking through the Ogden Temple, camping, the Logan Rodeo, and lots of trips to the park!  Swensen came for a visit and he along with Liv, Mya, Avery and Gavin formed a Rock Band in the family room!  Avery also had a fun 6th "Frozen" birthday party.  After playing the summer away it was time to head back to school.  Liv is in 8th, Mya 6th, and Avery in 1st.  I had a few tears dropping Avery off knowing she was gone all day now!  The girls have complained about not having enough work to do.  (I'll keep you posted on their work load come October :)  Gavin can't wait for preschool to start after Labor Day.  He and I have had fun, just the 2 of us during the day.  I forget how much work kids create just by being home.  I am now catching up and not falling behind 4 other places at the same time!  Ryan is doing well at work.  He was just released from Young Mens (Happy Dance!!!) and then put in as Exec. Secretary to Bishop.  Sad to see summer go, but what isn't to love about these temperatures, upcoming holidays, and the first snow fall!?
